When’s the best time to book my maternity session?
I recommend reaching out during your second trimester (around 12–20 weeks). This gives us plenty of time to plan everything—from styling to location—and make sure you get a spot on my calendar that works with your due date
When do we actually take the photos?
The sweet spot for maternity photos is usually between 28 and 34 weeks. Your bump is round and beautifully visible, and you’re typically still feeling comfortable enough to move around and enjoy the session.
That said—every pregnancy is different. If you're showing early, carrying multiples, or simply want a specific look, let’s talk. I’ll help you choose the best timing for you

What if I’m past 34 weeks already?
Don’t worry—it’s not too late! I’ve captured beautiful sessions at 36–38 weeks. Just reach out and I’ll do my best to fit you in
Can my partner or other kids be in the photos too?
Yes, absolutely! Maternity sessions can be solo or include your partner and children—whatever feels right to you. I’ll guide you every step of the way to make sure everyone feels relaxed and connected.
When To Schedule My Newborn Photo Session?
The best time to schedule your newborn photography session is during pregnancy. I’ll reserve a date around your due date, ensuring flexibility in case your little one arrives early or late.
Once your baby is born, simply reach out to finalize your appointment. If your baby has already arrived and you haven’t pre-booked, don’t worry—contact me right away so I can try to accommodate your session.
How Old Should My Baby Be for Their Newborn Session?
The ideal age for newborn photography is between 5–10 days old. During this time, your baby is still in the curled-up, sleepy stage, which allows for capturing those sweet, classic poses everyone adores.
I typically photograph babies between 5 days and 4 weeks old. After the 3–4 week mark, we’ll adjust to a style better suited for older babies to ensure we still create timeless memories.
Where Will My Photo Session Take Place?
All newborn photography sessions take place in my cozy, thoughtfully designed studio located in Torrance, California. My studio provides a safe and serene environment where everything is set up to make you and your baby comfortable.
I bring all the essentials—wraps, props, baskets, and more—so you don’t have to worry about anything. The studio is optimized for creating beautiful, timeless images.
How long do photo sessions usually take?

Maternity and family sessions typically last between 1 to 2 hours, depending on the flow and number of participants.

Newborn sessions can take up to 4 hours, giving plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and breaks—everything is paced around your baby’s comfort.

Milestone sessions usually run around 30 to 45 minutes, or as long as your baby is happy and engaged.
My sessions are always baby- and family-led. We’ll take our time without rushing, but I’ll also keep things moving so no one feels overwhelmed.
